Our client is a food manufacturing business based in East Tamaki.  With growth on the horizon towards the end of 2022 this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and show what you have to offer.

Initially starting out in the blending team we are looking for someone who is reliable, a team player and someone who is fit and strong.  You will be lifting up to 25KGs bulk products to mix, blend and bag.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm with overtime around production requirements which could have you finishing at 4.30/5pm.  There is some Saturday work.

This initial assignment is for 3-6 months.

Given the planned new line opening later this year, we are looking for someone that is really open to learning and growing with the business.  Potentially moving into other areas and becoming a cross trained valued member of the team long term.

What we love about this business is there is no difference on the floor between temp staff and permanent staff.  Everyone is treated the same.  No divisions.  As an agency we work with our temps closely to ensure you have the right support when you need it.  Covid has shaken everyone, and having an agency and host site that works together to ensure staff are always taken care of and are a priority is a must!   We also work closely with this client on transitioning temp staff to permanent contracts when they arise and are on offer.

What you need:

• Drivers licence and dependable transport
• Ability to lift 25KGS and be physically fit
• Reliable attendance record
• Forklift licence and time on the clock driving Reach and Counter Balance (safely)
• Be a team player and open to learning
