We're looking for a dynamic Sales Manager & Operational Lead —someone who thrives in a role where no two days look the same. You'll balance the morning operational meeting with hands-on sales, quoting, and driving new business and existing customer relationships. If you love leading by example, solving problems, knowing where things are at and growing revenue while keeping jobs running smoothly, this role offers the perfect blend.

What You'll Be Doing
Sales & Customer Growth

  • Conduct onsite quoting across a wide range of buildings in Auckland

  • Convert inbound enquiries into booked work through strong communication and follow-up

  • Follow up on past client jobs and re-bookings

  • Identify upsell opportunities (e.g., additional areas or services)

  • Support marketing initiatives with insights on customer trends and job types

Operations Lead

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring schedules, crews, and resources run smoothly

  • Lead the 7am daily toolbox briefing and get teams underway confidently

  • Assign the right crew to the right job, particularly for complex, high-access, or multi-day work

  • Lead crews on large or technical sites when needed

  • Ensure work meets quality standards and address rework where necessary

  • Manage customer complaints professionally and promptly

Job Planning & Scheduling

  • Plan and schedule jobs in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

  • Balance workloads, timeframes, and crew capability to maximise productivity

  • Use systems such as Fergus for job management, pre-start checks, and reporting

  • Maintain clear communication with customers regarding timing and access requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Strong leadership experience in trade services, construction, or building maintenance

  • Experience in quoting, sales, customer-facing work, or commercial service delivery

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, even when plans change daily

  • Confident communication style with the ability to build trust quickly

  • Strong problem-solving skills with initiative and follow-through

  • Ability to direct teams clearly, lead by example, and uphold high standards

  • A clean full driver's licence
