Our client is a well established and growing service provider in exterior cleaning and property maintenance, working with homeowners, schools, real estate agencies, and property managers across Auckland. With a loyal, active customer database and strong inbound demand, we are looking for a Key Account Manager to take full ownership of client relationships, quoting, and sales growth.

The Role
This position is a hands on role responsible for managing client enquiries, preparing accurate quotes, and ensuring each customer receives an exceptional experience. You will handle the full quoting process from initial enquiry through to job confirmation while maintaining clear communication with both clients and internal teams.

You'll be comfortable with CRM and quoting software to manage your pipeline, track follow ups, and convert opportunities into bookings. This opportunity would best suit someone who is proactive, detail oriented, and enjoys balancing both sales and operational coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Converting opportunities from an existing customer database into confirmed bookings

  • Coordinate with operations to ensure jobs are scheduled and completed to client expectations

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat and referral business

  • Provide reporting and performance insights to management

  • Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely quotes based on job specifications

This opportunity is primarily office based mixed with onsite visits to maintain and grow relationships and ensure service excellence.
 
What We're Looking For?
We're looking for someone with proven experience managing key accounts or client portfolios. 

You'll be a confident communicator who takes ownership and prides yourself on reliability and follow through.

You will

  • Take ownership of the sales pipeline own all leads, quote requests, follow-ups, and key accounts

  • Prepare detailed and accurate quotes

  • Proactively nurture and convert opportunities rebooking and upsells from our extensive customer database

  • Build strong relationships with property managers, body corporates, facilities teams, schools, keeping a strong focus on our residential clients

  • Conduct site visits, assess job requirements

 About You

  • Proven sales experience in construction, building exterior cleaning, facilities, or property maintenance

  • Proven background in business development, sales, or estimating — ideally within trades, construction, or building services

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to build trust quickly

  • Confidence using and improving  CRM and quoting systems to manage pipelines and measure success
