Our client is based in the lovely South East suburbs close to the sea.  Enjoy a walk along the beach at lunch to clear the head, or a coffee at one of the many cafes walking distance to the front door.  This is mental health and wellbeing counselling support business reaching businesses NZ Wide.  Really make a difference in everyday lives.

Due to such growth we are looking for a full time Wellbeing Advisor to be part of the first responder team for all incoming calls from customers and clients. Initially this role is a temp assignment due to the growth and it being a brand new need.  However it is highly likely to become a permanent position with time.  Based on all of the upward trends and increased client portfolio needing to be serviced.

This is a small close knit team who really pull together to support each other and the people in need of the services.  With a genuine passion for wellbeing.

Currently based in Howick with the longer term picture of moving to Highbrook.
The job:

  • Triage all incoming calls being part of the first responder call team

  • Working with customers on the phones that are in need, keeping them calm & obtaining the right level of detail to ensure the appropriate support is available and connected to them

  • Organise clinicians to all clients and arrange support processes

  • Associated paperwork completion and support documentation

  • Immediately respond to all critical incidents

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to stay calm and collected in times of high emotion calls

  • Genuine passion for wellbeing services

  • Ability to build rapport and offer empathy

  • Professional telephone manner

  • Organised with the ability to be proactive and solutions based

  • Perhaps you have volunteered for a support line but would like to turn this into a full time job. Lifeline, EAP services, St Johns, Social Services, or one of the other many wonderful organisations that support people in need.
