Start January 2021 - ongoing temp assignment at this stage

Our client is a property services business that is looking for a temp to start in January 2021.  Located close to the Onehunga Mall you have the best of both worlds with easy parking, and great lunch spots.

We are looking for a self starter who is an expert on day to day transactions using MYOB. 

The key responsibilities include:

  • Quotations
  • Job Costing
  • Debtors
  • Creditors
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Work in Progress Costings
  • Payroll – weekly
  • General Administration and ad hoc office duties

Being in the trade services business you will be someone that relates well to people from all walks of life and can work both independently and within a team environment.  There will be times when the team are off on sites and you can enjoy those quieter moments, to other times where you will have a full house and great office banter.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday with ideally an early start.  We are looking at 28-30 hours a week.

With the business going through some changes in 2021 we are looking for someone who embraces change and can work with the fluidity that is required.

To be successful within this position you will need:

  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Current MYOB experience is a must (non negotiable)
  • Experience within a job costing environment
  • A great sense of humour
  • The ability to switch gears when required
  • Adaptability
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand

This is a temp position until 2021’s internal structure has been finalised.
